Westonka Animal Hospital and our sister animal hospital Lake Minnetonka Pet Wellness Center, are full-service animal hospitals for dogs and cats. We serve the pets of Mound, Spring Park, Wayzata, Minnetonka Beach, Tonka Bay, Shorewood and surrounding areas 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Our veterinary services include wellness care and vaccines, general veterinary care, diagnostic services, laser surgery, and dental care. Our loving and compassionate staff is made up of 6 Veterinarians (Dr’s Craig & Jackie Piepkorn, Dr. Andy Collins, Dr. Shane Smith, Dr. Kody Carr, & Dr. Samantha Jacobsen). We have a staff of fantastic Veterinary Technicians, Assistants and Customer Service Representatives.
We are cat friendly; both cats and dogs will feel welcomed, comfortable, safe and loved at our animal hospitals! Our evening hours during the week and weekend hours help us schedule an appointment that works best for you and your furry friends. Please stop in to visit!

Established by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and the International Society for Feline Medicine (ISFM), the Cat Friendly Practice® program is a global initiative designed to elevate care for cats by reducing the stress for the cat, caregiver, and the entire veterinary team.
As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, Westonka Animal Hospital regularly undergoes evaluations to ensure that we meet or exceed AAHA's standards of care.
These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client service, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA, which is recognized worldwide as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.
